My name is Enrico Ghidelli — or simply Rico, if you prefer.

I started ghidelli.net on December 2007, and feed it by intention & btw; I hope you like it.

This site is kinda mess, and a mixture of English and German too; but it works as designed.

I am recycling my already somewhere published stuff, but going on new material is provided too. Please scroll down for technical & content updates — NB. minor changes, smaller extensions and «Bärentatzen & Bullenhufe» serial are not recorded —, or click on current webstats (2007/08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) or by origin, if you are interested in some figures.

Jan 09, 2011 — the scripophily section reorg was successful (s.e.o.), plus I added some more documents and information re. Hans Erni in the art section (i.e. «Kunst im Kleinen» and «Exil und Eroberung»).

Dec 18, 2010 — I am re-organizing the scripophily section: elaborated and history focused articles are to be listed separately, while short notes and daily business considerations shall be grouped in one B&B page (i.e. B&B archives will then be killed); please graciously accept the ongoing challenging chaos for the next weeks (it matches to the current crappy economy situation ;-)

Dec 1, 2010 — this November for the first time >100 individual IPs p. day visited ghidelli.net (leading to >3'000 site visits and >6'000 page views) — I like this :-) thank you.

Oct 31/Nov 07, 2010 — going through various documents I enhanced in the art section Werner Schreib's exhibition page, adding 23 + 6 more events (to a total of 140 exhibitions, the best ever documented list), and I was able to rectify some of the chronology by checking 69 detailed data.

Sep 04, 2010 — enhanced the «Freibeuter» article in the «Bärentatzen & Bullenhufe 2009» page (scripophily section) with two outstanding certificates of the french corsair Robert Surcouf.

Apr 13, 2010 — uploaded the Werner Schreib «aktuell/Breklum» page in the art section, prompted by news.

Apr 11, 2010 — uploaded the Hans Erni «Exil und Eroberung» page in the art section.

Apr 03, 2010 — uploaded the Werner Schreib «Filmbeiträge» page — offering 3 movies — in the «Mediathek» chapter (s. art section).

Mar 03, 2010 — Irving Berlin w/o music is like winter w/o snow. So I added at the end of the youngest 2009 «Bärentatzen & Bullenhufe» article a dozen links to Berlin songs on YouTube — not a major addition, but a nice one :-)

Feb 14, 2010 — enhanced the HRG Goldtaler page in the art section.

Feb 01, 2010 — growing numbers are fantastic — if they are true … again, over a period of 5 days a bank server sent a bunch of dummy requests to this site (av. monthly hits are currently ≈35'000, in Jan ghidelli.net got >50'000!), causing a statistical humbug; it was corrected using weighted daily averages and leveling.

Dec 13, 2009 — got a little but nice Krug/Mondavi & Beringer wine label collection to enhance the «Rebensaft aus Napa Valley»-page in the scripophily section.

Dec 01, 2009 — all pages are now provided with the direct link to this chronological log of all major technical changes and content updates.

Nov 08, 2009 — uploaded the Hans Erni «vivat Bacchus!» page in the art section.

Nov 01, 2009 — fixed the bug in the September site visitors stats using weighted daily averages.

Oct 23, 2009 — because of an article I read about a co-worker who participates in the first Swiss «Miss Handicap»-contest, I decided to push up the start of the diversity section by enhancing the index page.

Aug 12, 2009 — filled several gaps of Hans Erni's KiK appendix page in the art section (& more is in the pipeline).

Jul 02, 2009 — completed the Swiss External Bonds page «Greenbacks ins Heidiland» in the scripophily section.

Jun 30, 2009 — these past weeks several pictures and more details were uploaded to enhance most pages in the scripophily section.

Feb 01, 2009 — the Jan09 stats shows 1^st time a monthly average of >2 visits/hr (i.e. 62 visits/24 hrs); thx again & cya, as more will have to come! (plus uploaded the «Clarkson report» re. I.O.S. in the archived B&B 2008 page of the scripophily section).

Jan 20, 2009 — archived the «Bärentatzen & Bullenhufe» 2008 page and started the current one.

Dec 28/29, 2008 — switched all Werner Schreib pages into the new structure of the virtual museum (but it is still a shell, and remodelling is ongoing, thus may I ask you to please indulgently be patient re. possible problems caused by construction works); plus timestamped all non-«Bärentatzen & Bullenhufe» pages in the scripophily section, plus reorganized the left navigation windows; plus catched finally the maddening horizontal scroll bar issue on some Lightbox pictures (pics' resizing is ongoing).

Dec 21, 2008 — implemented Lightbox JS in some pages (e.g. «Wall Street Blues» in the scripophily section) as a pilot for the upcoming construction works at the Werner Schreib virtual museum lot; it seems to run well/as designed and being at least a good compromise for FF/IE7 and mid-size displays.
